Mechanical engineer
The Solar Team means versatility to me: from start to finish, the entire team will be challenged in every possible way. We will push ourselves and each other to the limit, exploring the boundaries of technology, innovation, and our own abilities. We will clash, fall, get back up, and keep going.
The solar car symbolizes the future that we, young engineers, will shape. A future that isn't built in a day, that doesn't exist within our comfort zone, and that inspires us. The journey we will undertake in these 15 months is more than just building a solar car. In this project, we will get to know the world, get to know ourselves, and make friends for life!
As a mechanical engineer on this team, I will design, produce, and test all the mechanical systems of the car. This includes the suspension, steering system, tilting of the solar panel, and more. This role aligns with my training as a mechanical engineer. Our goal, of course, is to defend our world title at the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge!
