Race strategist engineer
As a bio-engineer, I have a unique perspective on the race strategy. Not only will technical factors play a role in our decisions during the race, but also environmental factors such as the weather when we tackle the Australian outback. I also find the extra challenge of racing in the Australian winter with a lower sun position incredibly interesting.
Throughout the year, numerous considerations are made to build the most optimal car. Backing these decisions with calculations and daring to question ideas is something I find immensely fascinating. This is also the part of my job where the collaborative aspect is likely to come to the forefront the most. I am certain that my bio-engineer's heart will beat faster when all green innovations are brought to a higher level again.
